What to Expect – Next Steps After Registration
Online Course Access (RQI Program)
You’ll receive access to your American Heart Association online course via email. Access is distributed three times daily between 8 AM and 5 PM.
To complete the course:
Use a computer or tablet (mobile phones are not supported)
Course durations vary
BLS: 1–2 hours
ACLS or PALS: 3–4 hours
You can pause/resume as needed
Skills Testing Day Instructions
Make sure to complete the online course before your scheduled skills session.
At your session:
Arrive at your selected Florida location on time.
Bring your RQI login and follow the entry instructions.
Use the gloves and equipment provided.
Log in and follow the on-screen prompts to begin testing with the Voice-Assisted Manikin (VAM).
No instructor is present, but support is a phone call away.
CPR & First Aid Course Instructions
If you signed up for CPR and First Aid:
Arrive at your scheduled location on time.
Keep your phone ready—your instructor will contact you via text or the room’s camera.
A virtual AHA instructor will walk you through the skills testing step-by-step.
You'll receive your certification card the same day.
This process is designed to be stress-free, convenient, and efficient—so you can walk in, get certified, and walk out with confidence!
